For the Groom, Jacket On or Off during the Dance?

If your Groom is wearing a suit jacket during the Reception, should he also wear it during your Wedding Dance? His suit jacket may or may not be too restrictive during the dance, likewise it could be very distracting. So, what’s the answer?

Simple! Upon learning a few steps to dance to your chosen Wedding Dance Song, simply do some at-home practice whilst the Groom wears his suit jacket plus any other upper-body clothing he intends to wear (e.g. long sleeve short, vest, tie, etc).

This means you’ll be perfectly practicing the Go Live environment of your Wedding Dance so as to proactively determine if it’s to be jacket on or off.

Lastly, if it’s “jacket off”, will the Groom have his long sleeves buttoned or unbuttoned at his wrists? Please keep in mind, as he’s dancing your amazing Wedding Dance his arms may be moving in such a way they’ll be restricted with buttoned sleeves. As an alternative, the Groom may choose to loosen the sleeves by using a alternate sleeve buttons or having both sleeves simply rolled-up two or three folds. This can still look very chivalrous, especially if he’s wearing a tie and vest.

Easy!
