Gold Coast and Brisbane Wedding Dance Steps Customised for Every Couple

It’s Your Wedding Dance but with What Dance Steps?

For their Brisbane Wedding Dance or Gold Coast Wedding Dance, which dance steps should be taught to a wedding couple? Simple! Firstly, the wedding dance steps must be customised to match the rhythm of the couple's chosen wedding dance song. For example, the song might have the rhythm of a Cha Cha, or a Rumba, or a Bolero, or perhaps a Salsa, etc. If, incorrectly, Salsa steps were taught to a song with a Rumba rhythm, when dancing the couple will feel like they’re trying to, “place a square peg into a round hole”!

Secondly, there's consideration of the couple's ability to learn their dance steps. Having taught thousands to dance, I’ve noticed most people do learn at about the same pace. However, there are those who otherwise learn very quickly, and others who simply need some TLC (“tender loving care”). With private dance lessons, this sensitivity will be precise and towards each couple per lesson.

Finally, how much time will the couple have available for at-home practice? For example, some partners may both work the same hours meaning the opportunity to often be together. For these couples, slightly more evolved dance steps could be taught. In contrast, if both partners work irregular hours (e.g. hospital employees, FIFO employees, etc) then their time together is less opportune. For these couples, consideration could be towards teaching only the easier dance steps.
